OASIS, a wholly-owned subsidiary of ThayerMahan, Inc., is seeking a research scientist/scientific programmer in acoustics, signal processing, and embedded system software design in Lexington, MA or Groton, CT. Due to our work with the U.S. Government, this role legally requires that you are a U.S. citizen. Candidates must hold a BS or MS degree in electrical engineering, physics, or computer science, preferably with 3-5 years of post-graduate experience. Duties will include software development, acoustic and oceanographic data analysis, and application of digital signal processing techniques in a real-time embedded computing environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills are required. Preference will be shown to those candidates with programming experience in C, facility with Linux operating systems, and a willingness to travel and support at-sea experiments.
