Are you ready to dive into the world of maritime technology? As an Engineering Technician Level 1 or Level 2, you’ll be the backbone of our deployment and engineering teams. Your mission: build, test, and deploy/recover TM systems like a pro!
You will be working in person at our Groton, CT facility reporting into our Persistent Surveillance Systems (PSS) team.
This role will have 10-15% at sea travel (domestic and occasional international) for up to two-week periods at sea.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Assemble and test payloads for PSS systems – because we like our technology as sleek as a submarine.
- Build electrical assemblies for auxiliary components to payloads – think of it as creating the brain for our underwater superheroes.
- Test equipment operation using various software and electronic metering tools – your tools, your rules!
- Troubleshoot broken equipment – because even our tech needs a hero sometimes.
Qualifications and Educational Requirements:
- High school graduate/GED equivalent
Required Skills:
- Basic Electrical and electro-mechanical troubleshooting
- Proficiency with hand tools
- Safety Oriented
- Read and Interpret wiring diagrams
- Follow build guides
Preferred Skills:
- Experience soldering/splicing cables
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Flexibility to work overtime hours to meet deadlines
- Knowledge of maritime environments
- Experience with marine robotics systems
- Experience with waterproofing electrical systems
Physical Requirements/Working Conditions:
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
- Must be able to work in various outdoor weather conditions, such as heat, cold, rain, high winds

Pay range for this role: $27.00-$34.00/hour based upon experience.
