Summary
As the Digital Solutions Coordinator, you will be responsible for supporting the planning, execution, and optimization of digital marketing campaigns and initiatives across digital channels. Working closely with our marketing staff, and our expert teams in applied ocean sciences, engineering, and operations, you will implement marketing strategies to increase ThayerMahan’s brand awareness and engagement through digital marketing and customer engagement. You will work closely with the Marketing team to deploy powerful storytelling and create engaging narratives across various communications channels, while leveraging creativity and graphic design expertise to differentiate us in the market and drive sustainable growth.

You’ll use your skills in digital and email marketing materials in a work environment that’s fast-paced, collaborative, and on the cutting edge of maritime technology. We are looking for a passionate Digital Solutions Coordinator to join our growing Marketing team to focus efforts on digital graphics, video media, social media advertising, search engine marketing and optimization, and email marking personalization, customization, and content development.
This position is located in Groton, CT.
Responsibilities
The successful applicant must have experience in the following:
- Manage and implement Marketing calendars, developing scheduling and content for social media posts, press releases, video releases, and other digital channels.
- Develop and execute implementation of digital marketing strategies to increase brand awareness and engagement.
- Collaborate with staff to gather content and create engaging narratives that can be shared across various communications channels.
- Attending company events to photograph and report.
- Support digital content creation and maintenance by updating our website, updating collateral, and more.
- Align digital efforts with annual KPIs and OKRs while evaluating metrics and analytics to ensure effectiveness in overall marketing and integration with business objectives.
- Coordinate the implementation of digital solutions including website updates, email marketing campaigns, social media content, online advertising, and SEO/SEM efforts.
- Manage digital marketing assets, digital collateral, and digital content library.
- Development of tools and resources for successful salesforce activation.
- Identifying and creating strategies that support customer acquisition goals.
- Supporting the execution of annual brand plans, including marketing campaigns, new product launches, promotional plans, and distribution opportunities.
- Ensuring brand initiatives and implementation plans are being followed.
- Collaboration to create compelling and relevant content that resonates with target audiences and reinforces brand messaging and values.
Qualifications
2-5 years of experience in brand management, marketing, or similar field, in addition to:
- Bachelor’s degree or comparable work experience in Marketing, Design, or relevant field.
- Proficiency in social media management tools and analytics platforms.
- Experience in Adobe Creative Suite with a good eye for clean and compelling design.
- Experience in photo and video editing.
- Solutions-oriented creative thinker who can work independently.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills.
- Takes initiative and demonstrates leadership and teamwork.
- Strong work ethic, excellent team player, and positive “can do” attitude.
- Proactively seeks additional opportunities to learn and expand knowledge.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
